GSA-S was developed in response to the need for highly ductile bracing structures and is used for eccentric braced frames (EBF) in timber construction. Thanks to the plastic deformation of the ductile links, seismic energy is dissipated in GSA-S. This enables design based on dissipative structural behaviour with an economical behaviour factor.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
